Jay’s Renovation & Beautification
We have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that we are going to be closed from May 31-June 7… The good news is that during this time we are doing some much-needed renovation and beautification. We will be installing a new dish pit in our kitchen; while this is probably not too exciting to our customers, our kitchen staff is thrilled. We will have some other behind the scenes projects as well.
What we are most excited about is the work that is going to make Jay’s more appealing to you! If you have been to see us lately, you know that the alley just east of Jay’s is undergoing major work by the City. As part of that project, we will have some work done on our eastern patio that will tie our patio into the beautiful new alley.
We will also start the process of reupholstering most of the furniture in Jay’s. This is going to give us an exciting new look, and we are excited to see it. Below is a picture that will give you a sense of the color palette and some of the new fabric. This project will continue through the month of June, but we will only have small sections of the restaurant closed after June 7th.
Jay’s Select Summer Wine List 2021
Colin and Maddison have been working diligently to curate a wonderful summer wine list. Most of these wines will be poured by the glass and also sold by the bottle. You can view our entire menu on our website.
Our featured wines are:
– Hartford Court Chardonnay and Hartford Court Pinot Noir (bottle only). We are particularly excited about these wines because on July 27th we are hosting Jeff Stewart, the General Manager & Winemaker at Hartford Court. If you are interested in the wine dinner please fill out this form and we will contact you when we begin selling tickets. This event will have a limited seats so get on the list ASAP.
– Villa Sparina Barbera DOC (make sure and read the very fun story about why they use their special bottle)
That is all for this month – we will see you after the dust settles!
